The audience is always a lot to manage, when it's over 100 people strong in a relatively social settings. Dayle is exceptional at taking the lead, keeping everyone engaged, accurately articulating the item to the audience, and working hard to expertly maximise the value of each and every lot.   • Dayle Barnes has acted as MC for our race night fundraiser several times now. He has announced prizes and raffles, run auctions, called the horse races, sold raffle tickets, and generally kept the crowd engaged and having fun. We will always use Dayle as the comments after the night from attendees have been - "who was that guy, he was amazing", "gosh the MC was one of the best things about the night", "we LOVED the MC"...... Dayle is willing to help out in any way he can during the function, and is able to change the programme on the fly if we need him to. Well, the coins are all counted and all loose ends are firmly tied up and we are thrilled to announce that the Gladstone Gala 2015 raised the phenomenal sum of $51,765. The Gladstone Gala is the schools biggest fundraising event of the year and an opportunity to involve both our school and wider community in a fantastic fun filled day out, with something for everyone. Despite slightly grim beginnings on the weather front this year, the sun came out exactly on time, the crowds appeared and a wonderful day was had by all.
